Mom, I’ll take the bus to school.

March 30th, 2008

It’s got to be tough being dropped off at school when your mom’s minvan has an erotic santa sticker on it. Found on Sydney Marcus.

My American Idol Moment 4/25/08

March 26th, 2008

Jason Castro, you’re my man. Not very often do I get a feeling that the man singing in from of god knows how many millions of people is high. It’s not your dreads that make me believe your high (stereotype), or your song (Sting), it was your rambling response with moments of random laughter. Priceless. My favorite spot though is the very end when they are announcing your number and you glazed over eyes stare into the camera and you go, ” twoooooo…” Very nice, high five.

Park Tavern - Oyster/Crawfish Festival 2008 - March 29th

March 25th, 2008

Ahh yes…the St Patty’s day and Oyster/Crawfish festival are turning into annual spring events. These booze filled, no holds barred, all day drinking are nice events after a long, moderately cool winter. So as long as it doesn’t snow like it did on Monday, this will be a good event. I do have to say that the pricing structure for these events are getting a little crazy for these events. It’s $10 bucks in advance or $30 at the door. I understand you want to sell tickets early but it’s retarded to think that I have to pay $30 bucks just so I can go pay full price and wait in line for drinks. I think I would rather sit in the park and get drunk if I forgot to buy mine in advance. Either way, it’s a good event but I would try and get your tickets before the Saturday is you are expecting to go.

Tabernacle to reopen in early May

March 25th, 2008

(Courtesy of Flickr)

According the AJC and Peter Conlon of Live Nation, the Tabernacle will reopen in early May. It seems that most of the damage was not structural just superficial. That is good news.

Local Atlanta Delta Flight Attendant, Katherine Lee, is making quite a splash on YouTube and beyond. Over the last couple of days, the star of the new Delta safety video has been popping up on the 24 hr news channels, blogs and newspapers . Most of the focus and attention has been around the good looks of this new safety star. Unfortunately for us, her myspace page is set to private, so no looking for more juicy tips on this flight attendants likes and dislikes. She is single though, that has been confirmed.
