Going the way of candy cigarettes, “Kronic Kandy” and “Pot Suckers” are now banned in Georgia. It seems that Senator Stoner has gotten together with Senator Buzzkill and ended the party for the kids. The merchants who sell the candy, whose slogan is “every lick is like taking a hit,” are according to the law “promoting marijuana use and creating new customers for drug dealers in the State of Georgia,” and will subject to a misdemeanor if caught selling the product. Now I’m sure that banning will not stop 16 year olds from taking a toke, but I just feel glad that I grew up in a time where I could drink a near beer, while sucking on pot suckers and finishing that all off with a puff of sugar from my candy cigarette.

| Oh the heat is rolling in and the rain is staying away and that equals some good weather this weekend. I’m not sure how ready I am for the heat but it is better then getting the rain of the last 6 weekends.

| This photo was on the front page of the metro section yesterday and it caught my eye because of the panic that is on that man’s face. Now, the headline is a little misleading because this family’s dream home was a foreclosed house that they were bidding on, so I’m sure it hurt but probably not as much as the person who got foreclosed on. Either way, if I was going to be words to describe this man’s face, they would be, ” ohh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, this house is going to cost me a fucking fortune…”

The Dunwoody Beer Festival returns on Saturday, May 17th at Perimeter mall. This festival is no different from other beer festival in Atlanta, where you sit around with you friends and get drunk off a lot of beer served in small amounts while cover bands rock out mid 90’s hits. Now one thing does set the Dunwoody festival apart from the other festivals in Atlanta, it’s home is in a mall parking lot. Yes, that is right, there is nothing better than drinking your beer while searching for a nice piece of hot black concrete to find refuge. Now the festival is not all bad, it’s easy to take MARTA to if you feel like you are going to get drunk and if you underdress, well your only a few steps away from the mall where you can correct your error. I went last year and I had a good time but I just wish they would find a home that has some green grass. Tickets - $30 in advance, $35 at the door

| So on May 28th, the Tabernacle will reopen after sustaining damage from the direct hit it took during the march tornado. The show that will kick of the revamped Tabernacle will be Dream Theater, shown below, and they don’t look too happy about it.

If you thought that you missed your opportunity to see Radiohead this Thursday, well it looks like your second chance has arrived. If you go to ebay or craiglist today, there seems to be a firesale on Radiohead tickets. People are asking for face value for lawn tickets and judging by the sheer number of them, you might even be able to get them below face value. So if you are interested in getting tickets then stop on by your local ebay or craigslist and pick up a few for cheap, Good luck.
